ADORPHOENIX - Businesses filing and paying transaction privilege tax (TPT) in Arizona have new procedures to follow beginning July 1, 2016, according to the Arizona Department of Revenue.

“What happened this year at the Legislature”

The biggest win that affects property managers/homeowners is the signing of SB1350 (also known as the AirBNB/Vacation Rental bill.)  This law is a major win for homeowners giving them the right to lease their homes for shorter periods of time.  HOAs can still restrict (through the CCRs) minimum time-frames for leasing.
